Zoey has lived on St. Saviours for five years. She is a mum of two children and a carer for her youngest child. Zoey’s working background is in criminal rehabilitation, working in prisons and the justice system.
Zoey joined Magdalen Hall Tenants and Residents Association due to a drive to create change in her local area. She wants to create a safe space for the community and a place that the people from our diverse community can come together.
Having previously volunteered with organisations such as Age UK, helping integrate older people into the community with activities that were previously inaccessible, she wants to ensure Magdalen Hall is accessible to all and a central hub for all to enjoy.
David has lived on St. Saviours for twenty-five years, after being appointed Vice-Chair in November 2023, he is keen to continue this work in the newly incorporated Magdalen Hall Association C.I.C.
For the last twelve years David has worked in various roles in the third-sector, with a focus on property management and health and safety.
David is a goal driven management professional, with a strong record of success in customer-centric industries. He is equipped with a strong business acumen.
Kyle has lived on St. Saviours for thirteen years, moving to the area in 2012. Kyle’s education started in the arts where he went to the prestigious East 15 Acting School, obtaining a degree in Acting. He then switched to business and completed a degree in Operations Management, becoming a chartered manager.
Kyle works as a Parcel Customer Operations Manager for Royal Mail and has worked in operations for eight years. Kyle has extensive experience in Operations Management, leadership and Finance.
Kyle has worked with charities such as Become and The Care Leavers Trust. He is also a director for Southwark Group of Tenants Organisations and First Luxury Rentals Ltd.
Jade has lived on St. Saviours for over ten years. A mum of two children, with another on the way. Jade has a background in working in childcare which she did for several years.
Jade decided to follow her entrepreneurial spirit and now owns her own dog sitting business, as she is also passionate about animals, having several dogs herself.
Jade’s background in social-care and childcare drives her motivation to make a better community for all and her experience in watching Magdalen Hall Association grow, has made her motivation even stronger.
Incumbent Non-Executive Directors:
Our Board holds a General Meeting on the last Thursday of every month. The meeting is attended by stakeholders such as Southwark Council Officers, police and the Anti-social Behaviour Unit.
Our meetings are an open floor to raise concerns and issues about the estates and give intelligence to the relevant stakeholders, so they are able to tackle the social issues at hand.
We have an Annual General Meeting once a year on the last Thursday of July, where elections take place.

Magdalen Hall Association C.I.C. is owned by the tenants and residents of St. Saviours, Purbrook and Aylwin Estate.
Each resident over eighteen in a household has one vote each which is binding at a General Meeting.
The owners elect their board members each year at the Annual General Meeting to oversee the operations of the organisation and to liaise with Southwark Council on their behalf.
The members can attend general meetings to have their say on any issue and vote on any resolutions. These meetings are also attended by representatives of Southwark Council and other organisations.
The board answer to the owners / members of the organisation and is independent of Southwark Council.
