2024 - Magdalen Hall Association posts record revenues and profits for financial year 2023/24. Incorporates to a Community Interest Company with new articles of association, becomes VAT registered and a Living Wage Employer.
2023 - SPAM rebrands to Magdalen Hall Association and Community Bar. Works undertaken to improve facility and modernise processes and procedures.
2015 - Works undertaken to improve hall and facilities.
2013 - Association is renamed to St. Saviours, Purbrook, Aylwin and Magdalen Tenants and Residents Association (SPAM).
2005 - Current non-executive Director Teresa Howell joins the committee with long-term friend Maria Cheeseman who was the Treasurer.
1989 - New constitution agreed at 20th February 1989 AMG, with expressed aims of elimination of racism and discrimination.
1981 - Southwark Council re-lease the land from the Church of England for 100 years.
1961 - Magdalen Tenants and Residents Association is formed and Magdalen Hall becomes it's home.
1960 - A rich benefactor builds the Hall and it is named after the local St. Mary Magdalen Church.
1959 - The land that Magdalen Hall sits on is owned by the Church of England. Southwark Council lease the land from the Church of England.
1930 - Southwark St. Saviours was abolished in 1930, however residents of the former parish receive a rebate against local taxation because of the presence of Borough Market.
1900 - St. Saviours was a local government district within the metropolitan area of London, England from 1855 to 1900. Where it became the Metropolitan Borough of Southwark.
1541 - Southwark St. Saviours was created from the union of the parishes of St Margaret and St Mary.
