On Saturday 15th June 2024 we hosted Plaza Latina. It was a great success. Bringing back a Latin American vibe to our great hall and estate. It was a free event for all to enjoy. It had music, dance, free health checks, comedy, performances and food. 

Throughout the day 450 people came to enjoy the festivities. Even Paddington Bear showed his face! Did you know that before living in London, Paddington Bear hailed from Peru? He was bought up by Aunt Lucy after becoming orphaned following an earthquake when he was just a few weeks old. She taught him perfect English before sending him as a stow away on a boat to London. He was then found in Paddington Station by Mr and Mrs Brown. 

Thank you to all those involved and Latin Hub UK our new partners. Our next event is on the 15th June 2024, bringing a Pride theme to the event. It will be a spectacle with great things planned so put the date in your diary. Details will follow soon. 

At Magdalen Hall Association our space is open to all who want to be part of our great community and family. We will always promote tolerance, diversity and equality and ensure our tenants and residents are heard. 

On the 14th May 2024, we officially became incorporated. This takes the organisation from being unincorporated without any legal standing or rules to now being regulated by law. 

This will ensure the long-term viability of the association and allow us to usher in a new age of investment into our estates to bring the best and most out of an association we all hold dear.
