Welcome! Magdalen Hall Association C.I.C is a Tenants and Residents Association set up as a community interest company that is run by a board of tenants and residents from across the estates of St. Saviours, Purbrook & Aylwin (over 716 homes).

We manage and run the beautiful Magdalen Hall, located a stone throw away from Tower Bridge, with London Bridge, a major transportation hub nearby. It has a spacious hall for rent with a stage for parties, functions, classes and theatre productions; supplemented by two bars at modest prices and discounts for members.

Hall Rental

Main Hall at Magdalen Hall Association & Community Bar is a versatile and spacious venue perfect for a wide range of events. Located a stone's throw away from Tower Bridge, this hall offers a stage, making it ideal for parties, functions, classes, and theatre productions.

The hall can accommodate up to 120 guests, ensuring ample space for workshops, rehearsal spaces, audition spaces, and productions. Facilities include a kitchen with essential appliances, a private bar, a sound system, disco lights, a DJ booth, free WiFi, and live sports broadcasting. With fourteen 6ft foldable tables and eighty chairs available, the hall is well-equipped for various setups.

The hall's rental rates are competitively priced, with discounts for members, and it requires a £250.00 deposit. Extras like private bar hire, BBQ hire, and chair cover hire are available to enhance your event. Whether you're planning a birthday party, a community event, or a theatre production, Main Hall offers a welcoming and accommodating space.

The Secondary Hall capacity is 40 and is good for small meetings, training, rehearsals and presentations.

Main Hall Rent Prices: -

£39.75 per hour - Friday to Sunday

£32.00 per hour - Monday to Thursday

£26.00 per hour - Members

There is a £250.00 deposit required, plus terms and conditions.

Secondary Hall Rent Prices: -

£26.00 per hour - Friday to Sunday

£21.00 per hour - Monday to Thursday

£16.00 per hour - Members

There is a £100.00 deposit required, plus terms and conditions.

What Does Our Bar Offer?

Our community bar is partnered with AB INBEV UK, who supply our draught beers. We have: -

Our prices are at the social club rate. Check out our menu. A price for a beer is £4.50, for a bottle is £3.40.

We have a large selection of spirits that all can enjoy. At just £4.40 a shot and mixer or £6.60 for a double.

We are family and dog friendly with a beer garden. Our opening times can be found HERE.
